Job Title: Requirement for Videographer and Post Production for Specific Segments of a Two-Day Innovation Event with Senior Officials from Ontario and across Canada, China, Israel, and India.
Honorarium for this Project: $500 (to be provided upon receipt of the video)
Anticipated Hours: Two Days to Attend the Event; Post Production Time Following the Event
Requirements: Film specific segments of the event, including presentations and speeches from senior officials such as Glen Murray, Minister of Research and Innovation, Government of Ontario, from all participating countries, as well as the roundtable discussion; complete post production on the video for use by ISTPCanada
Skills and Experience Expected of a Successful Candidate: Passionate about videography and post-production; interest in global relations, science, technology and innovation; professional
Overview of the Event: International Science and Technology Partnerships Canada (ISTPCanada), together with Canadian, Indian and Israeli partners, organized and hosted a two-day Ontario (Canada)-India-Israel Trilateral Roundtable on Water Technologies that promises to help Canadian innovators capitalize on the $400 billion global water technologies market and improve the availability of fresh water in India. It represents the first milestone in a broader strategic initiative that aims to harness the complementary strengths of all three nations; stimulate trilateral R&D on technology-based water solutions that address specific issues facing India; and open new markets for participating companies. The emerging three-way partnerships will provide Canadian innovators with a competitive advantage in the Indian market, enabling them to seize near-term commercial opportunities and increase the export of Canadian technology to India.
