SwarmJam is a collective buying site that features a DailyJam (a sweet daily deal from a local vendor). We are seeking a talented part-time bilingual writer to join our team! If you have a creative personality, enjoy crafting humorous and entertaining prose and love a challenge, we want to hear from you.
Job Description:
- Develop engaging and creative content for Montreal’s six daily deals each week
- Write one DailyJam (or deal) per day, in French and in English
- Create accompanying vendor bio that highlights the best qualities of the client
- Adhere to SwarmJam’s format, style guide and high grammatical standards
- Manage daily deadlines and maintain an open line of communication with Content Development Manager
Skills and Qualifications:
-Superior French and English reading and writing skills
-Professional training/experience in journalism, creative writing and/or advertising
-A creative and intuitive personality
-A talent for crafting engaging and effective content
-Willingness to work from home (this is a remote position)
