The Mark (social media intern) - unpaid

The Mark is looking to hire a creative and web-savvy social media intern who is familiar with the Canadian media landscape.

The job entails developing and executing The Mark's social media strategy, under the oversight of our Communications Director.


Key Responsibilities

· engage users and execute marketing campaigns via Twitter, Facebook and other social media tools.

· Suggest new and alternative ways to leverage social media activities.

· Monitor trends in social media tools, trends and applications.

· Measure the impact of social media on overall marketing efforts.

Candidates must have a practical knowledge of and experience with social media applications (Twitter, Facebook, StumbleUpon, Digg, LinkedIn, etc.), solid writing and communication skills and a strong intellectual curiosity.

All candidates should be self-driven university students or recent grads who can thrive in a team environment.

This position is part-time (20-30 hours per week, from the office) and unpaid.
