Boards is an international trade magazine for the advertising industry covering creativity, production and the burgeoning world of new media. We’re looking to take on editorial interns on an ongoing basis to research, write and undertake admin duties for our magazine, website and bi-weekly online newsletter.
Editorial duties
Researching new commercial and music video work as well as helping writers with research for longer features.
Generating daily story ideas.
Interviewing and writing for the weekly newsletter and magazine.
Admin responsibilities
Researching and sourcing new commercials and music videos.
Uploading and tagging new work to Boards website.
Limited transcribing of interviews.
Skills
Applicants will be expected to be proficient, creative news and short feature writers, with some experience of interviewing at a high level and working to strict editorial deadlines and writing to length. Excellent written skills required.
The position is unpaid. Hours are from 9.30am to 6pm Monday-Friday.
