Job Title: Writer
This is a volunteer position for a journalism student in their final year of the program. Allergy Sense is a new web resource and directory for people with food allergies and we are currently seeking one or two students to assist with writing press releases.
Your role will include the full preparation of press releases for the company including information about the company, its benefits, its offers and promotions or features. We will introduce you to various pr web sites where the releases will be posted. It is our goal to post a release every week or two weeks depending on new features and articles. The length of time to create the release will likely be between 2-5 hours. Some of the information will remain consistent, other info will change according to the content. Individuals applying must be organized, pay close attention to detail and have a good understanding of the components necessary for creating press releases.
