CT Student Media, a nationwide magazine with a distribution of over 30,000 is expanding it's team and looking for talented, committed and driven students looking to expand their portfolio.
We have many different positions suited to people with various experiences and backgrounds. We are currently recruiting for the following positions:
Editors: 10-15 hours a week
responsible for assigning stories, setting deadlines, and editing
attending meetings, training sessions, and social events
keeping in contact with writers and managing editor/editor in chief
Staff Writers: 20 hours a month
pitching stories, writing and reporting
attending all writers meetings
helping with distribution
Junior Editors: 10 hours a week
assisting editors and managing editor as needed
copy editing and posting stories to website
Broadcast Journalists: as needed
videotaping events and taking footage to be posted to the website
editing video to post to website
These are all internship positions and are unpaid.
