Compensation:
Unpaid - but you'll get a lot of free stuff and access to exclusive beauty and fashion events
Duties:
Assist our Editor writing articles, editing submissions from writers, interacting with our members on the website, researching trends, attending and covering local events, reviewing products, site admin.
Skills and experience:
A University student, majoring in Journalism or English or a recent graduate. Keen attention to detail, particularly spelling and grammar. Comfortable interacting on a social networking website. Experience writing for online publications is an asset but not required. Ability to write in a fun engaging style.
About the Opportunity:
This position will provide you with great exposure writing and editing for a major online women's publication. You will be responsible for writing daily short, engaging articles around fashion, beauty and wellness. You will also assist our Editor with submissions from our writing team, researching article ideas, conducting interviews and covering local events. You will be testing out the latest products, and helping to shape our Editorial Calendar. If your goal is to become a beauty or fashion editor, this position is for you.
