Job Title: Editorial assistant
Wage: unpaid
Expected hours per week: Monday to Tuesday (10-3p.m.); Wednesdays (10 – 5 p.m.) for a period of one to three months (depending on flexibility of successful candidate).
Duties of the job: Pitch story ideas, write assigned articles, help create heads and decks, proofread paper.
Skills and experience expected of a successful candidate: Knowledge of Italian is not a necessity. We are looking for a self-starter who is ready to write for newspapers and can generate story ideas as well as be ready to write assigned articles.
