TEACH Magazine is a national publication for K-12 educators across Canada.
Job Title: Editorial Intern (s): 1-2 positions available
Remuneration: Modest per diem + Transportation expenses
Role/Responsibilities: Working under the direction of the Editor and Assistant Editor, interns will assist in the editorial process both in print and online. They will also aid in the developing of content in the form of news items and articles for the print version of TEACH Magazine and the same for the publication’s Website: http://www.teachmag.com. Familiarity with social networking media is desirable. Bilingual capability (English/French) is a definite asset. Interns must have an interest in and/or knowledge of K-12 education. Some formal training in magazine journalism is required.
Duration: May – August, Three days per week
