TalentEgg is Canada's only student and new grad career site focused exclusively on meaningful career opportunities with top-quality employers. Founded in 2008, TalentEgg has grown its client base to over 100 top employers including companies such as Shell Canada, KPMG, General Electric and Industry Canada. TalentEgg also publishes at least four new articles or videos daily on our two online magazines.

TalentEgg is currently looking for a summer editorial intern to help execute the day-to-day operations of the editorial department, including (but not limited to) strategic content development; writing and editing; short video production and editing for the web; social media activity; working with clients on editorial campaigns; and contributing to the overall maintenance of our three online publications.

The basics:
• Full-time for the duration of the summer (May through August)
• Located in TalentEgg’s downtown office
• Paid with an honourarium (amount to be determined)
• Will work closely with TalentEgg’s editor and the entire TalentEgg team

What we’re looking for:
You’re an extremely driven student or recent graduate who is passionate about non-traditional online media and wants the opportunity to gain valuable non-traditional online media experience.

You can think critically about anything, and if you don’t know the answer, you know how to find it. Attention to detail, both when working with copy and in the presentation of the website, is essential, as are excellent spelling, grammar and writing skills.

You’re comfortable using WordPress, basic HTML and Photoshop, or you’re tech- and web-savvy enough to be able to quickly figure out how to use any of the numerous other websites and programs we use, including video editing software.

To apply, please send your resumé and cover letter along with any relevant links to your blogs, published work and social media accounts, to cassandra@talentegg.ca as soon as possible.
