Expected hours per week:
To be determined, approximately 20 hours per week. Flexible schedule. Note: only Greater Toronto Area-based candidates will be considered.
Remuneration:
To be determined based on skill set and qualifications.

Duties of the job:
Editorial interns work closely with the Maple Media team of editors and assist with research and content generation, as well as completing specific projects. This will include photo research, updating social media, pitching story ideas and writing service articles on parenting, beauty/grooming, fashion and relationships. Editorial interns will also be required to attend occasional events on behalf of Maple Media and organize contests and promotions.
Skills and experience expected of a successful candidate:
Editorial interns work closely with the Maple Media team of editors and assist with research and content generation, as well as completing specific projects. 1. Ideal
candidate will either possess, or be working toward, a degree in journalism
and/or publishing.
2. Must
have impeccable grammar and great eye for detail.
3. Strong
research and writing skills are musts.
