Job Title: Editorial Intern

Hours: 24 hours per week, 3 days per week
TEACH Magazine is looking for a dependable and creative editorial intern to join our tight-knit team.
Responsibilities
Reporting to the Assistant Editor, the Editorial Intern will:
• Write for the print magazine and digital magazine
• Contribute to and update the website
• Research for story development
• Copy edit and provide production assistance
• Represent the magazine at industry events
• Contribute to social media outlets
Qualifications
Strong writing skills
Copy Editing
Detail-oriented, highly organized, able to take instruction, take initiative, and work with minimal supervision
Proficiency with MS Office, Wordpress or other CMS, and Social Media is a must
Familiarity with Adobe Photoshop
Genuine interest in education
Fluency in French in an asset
This internship is unpaid. Transportation expenses are reimbursed.
