Job Title: Editorial Intern
Remuneration: Unpaid
Expected Hours Per Week: 20 (ish) house per week. May - September 2011. ChickAdvisor is located at Spadina and Adelaide
Duties of the Job: The editorial intern will work with the site editor to create daily content for the site's blog. Content is on fashion, beauty, entertainment and celebrities, health and fitness. The intern will be expected to be aware of trends and newsworthy topics and keep track of new product launches. The editorial intern will also test and write reviews for products, be an engaged and active member of the site and interact with other members. The hours will be regular but are somewhat flexible, and the intern may be asked to attend events on the organization's behalf.
Skills and Experience: Strong writing skills, ability to edit others, ability to write short and engaging copy quickly. A basic understanding of how to download images and edit using Photoshop is of benefit. Those with previous web and blogging experience, even if it's one's personal site/blog, should include url's when they apply.

You will be testing out the latest products, and helping to shape our Editorial Calendar. If your goal is to become a beauty or fashion editor, this position is for you.
