Editorial Internships – KMI Publishing
KMI Publishing and Events, located in downtown Toronto and publisher of trade and consumer magazines, which focus on mortgages and real estate investing is seeking editorial interns to contribute to our magazines and their websites.
KMI is part of Key Media, an Australian-based publishing and events company, which has a head office in Sydney, Australia, and further offices in Hong Kong and Singapore. Key Media is a leading organizer of conferences, gala dinners, award ceremonies and events.
The positions are part-time with the flexibility to work one full day or two half days per week.
Responsibilities
Over the course of the internship interns will, while working closely with KMI’s staff of editors and writers, take on researching, interviewing and writing duties for Canadian Mortgage Professional and Canadian Real Estate and the magazines’ websites.
Qualifications
The ideal candidates will be working towards a journalism degree. Any additional experience in the industry is an asset. We are looking for professional, enthusiastic self-starters who love magazines and aren’t afraid to dig deep for stories. Candidates should have an interest in business writing.
