Skate4Cancer - unpaid

Skate4Cancer is hiring two part-time interns to work with our Toronto team. The positions will be unpaid and will require 10 to 20 hours a week, dependent on availability. Interns will be responsible for contributing to our website, assisting our campaign manager, helping with publicity and occasional event planning. No experience required, but an enthusiasm for writing is preferred!

Skate4Cancer began with a skateboarding marathon from Los Angeles to Toronto performed by founder Rob Dyer. After losing several close family members and friends to cancer, the skate was intended to raise awareness for cancer prevention. In the eight years since, the organization has grown rapidly and is in the midst of many enormous changes. Currently the only cure we have is knowledge, and our focus remains on informative campaigns and building a supportive community.
