Title: Research Assistant
Volunteer
3 hours per week
For approximately 20 weeks
Duties: To help organize material for a book by conducting research into government legislation for car insurance and how it's evolved over 20 years, library research, statistical research of claims, injuries, and deaths, and possibly organizing one completed claim file and looking into the financial background of insurance companies. Any other related research as comes up in the course of this work.
Skills and Experience: Require skills in research and statistics. No experience needed, but if no experience, then a willingness to learn, take initiative, and knowledge of statistics and how to research. I will provide direction.
Project: This book will focus on the claim side of car insurance, an area most people don't know about or understand until they're suddenly put into that situation when injured and a side the media doesn't cover well.
