The Globe and Mail is accepting applications for the 2012 summer employment program. We accept expressions of interest by e-mail only. Phone calls will not be accepted. Please paste your information into the e-mail window, attach as a PC Word document or send active links to online work. Mac attachments will not be processed. Also, please specify whether you are interested in reporting, online reporting and editing, copy editing, design or photography. You can apply for all, but please do so separately.
In the subject line please indicate your school and which job interests you. For example, Ryerson-editing would mean you are attending Ryerson and seeking an editing summer job.
If you have finished school, please indicate the city where you live and your job preference in the subject line.

: Resume, including relevant newspaper experience including a school paper.
: Cover letter that includes 100-word explanation of what you would bring to the Globe.
: Three clippings of your published work, attached electronically or links.
Interviews will be completed in December.
You must be a citizen or qualified to work in Canada and you must have experience as a journalist either with a daily newspaper, a news website or a senior position on your school paper.
