Part-Time Enhancer

The Sun Media News Research Centre in Toronto has an immediate opening for a part-time Enhancer (25 hours per week).
The successful candidate will be required to work evening/overnight shifts, weekends and statutory holidays.
Job requirements:
· French language comprehension for working with French language newspaper articles.
· Excellent PC & Mac keyboard skills.
· Careful & thorough attention to detail.
· Ability to communicate and work well with fellow Enhancers and Sun Media news research staff.
· Excellent English language skills, i.e. spelling and grammar, in a newspaper production environment.
· Dependable transportation to & from job required
Job responsibilities (training provided):
· Locate, drag and drop PDF newspaper pages.
· Working with pre-designed template & customized filter software, the Enhancer ensures that all fields have correct content or adds missing content.
· Check reports to ensure data transmission for all Sun Media newspapers is successful.
· Follow up on technical problems.
Hours:
· 25 hours per week after 10 pm.
· 5 hours per shift.
