RocktheBeach.com - paid

Creative Director / Content Editor

Like surfing around the internet do ya? Chatting people up? Staying up on the latest Jersey Shore happenings? Know where and when you’re most likely to spot Blake Lively on the beach? Know about all the best Hollywood parties and a step-by-step guide to sneaking in?

Take the above pop-culture love affair, add in a whack of creativity, a ‘Type-A’ personality, the ingrained desire to dig, and dig, and dig for info, and of course the ability to work without a babysitter – and now you’re definitely the right one to join our team!

The Scoop
We are very excited to add a new team member to our growing media company. Our company’s portfolio consists of a growing series of online magazines, targeting a variety of pop culture niches. We have an immediate opening for a Creative Director / Content Manager to jump in and help with some of the heavy lifting.

Beyond RocktheBeach, several related projects are ready to go, and the successful candidate will be a driving force in launching these.

The Duties
As Creative Director / Content Manager, you will be the driving force behind content development and contribute to the direction of our magazine offerings moving forward. You will be responsible for organizing and collecting material from a variety of sources, writing and developing original content, creating and contributing to marketing initiatives, and occasionally travelling to great destinations to gather on-the-scene original content.

The Skill Set
- A recent Graduate or upper-year student from a University or College Journalism (or related) program
