Crossroads is currently recruiting an enthusiastic intern to support the expansion of its communications and media relations program. This position will provide work experience in strategy development, provide opportunities to do research, conduct interviews and write for our publications, to craft news releases and public service announcements, and to help build a national media contact list.
Working closely with the Communications Officer, the successful candidate will demonstrate superior writing, editing and proofreading skills and have high computer literacy. The ideal candidate will be results and detail-oriented, able to deliver on deadline and thrive working both independently and as a team. This position also requires creativity, strong organizational and analytic abilities and excellent communications skills.
Fluency in English is required, proficiency in French and Spanish is an asset.
