HumDesi Radio, a division of WorldBand Media is currently hiring individuals who fluently speak either Hindi or Urdu, have knowledge of Bollywood, and radio broadcasting.
Job Title
Associate Producer
Compensation
Will be offered based upon previous experience.
Expected Hours Per Week
10-20 hours (though is negotiable)
Responsibilities
- Prepacking music programs (could include hosting programs)
- Assisting hosts with research, preparing shows, and contacting guests
- Archiving and maintaining music library
Skills Required
- MUST be fluent in either Hindi or Urdu
- Must have knowledge of Bollywood Music
- Proficient with Sony’s Vegas
- Experience with SoundForge would be an asset, though is not mandatory
- Previous broadcasting experience is not mandatory

We are a 24x7 South Asian music station surving the South Asian community in America. The station and central operations are based in Richmond Hill, Ontario. The station is only a year old and is still working on establishing all of its shows. This is a great opportunity to see a radio station being built from scratch. We are looking for individuals who have fresh ideas, and can help us develop and enhance our shows.
