FALL INTERNSHIPS AVAILABLE NOW!
At Rogers TV York Region, we will have a number of college and university internship opportunities for students looking for Fall 2009.
We are looking for talented interns to fill in key positions on programs such as:
- First Local Sports, daytime York Region, Local Notes, Focal Point and Mobile Sports Productions, Your Pet, Your Vet
The following positions will be available for Fall 2009:
1. First Local Sports: Production Assistants and Sports Shooters (2 positions) Candidates must have a valid and clean G license and be available evenings and weekends.
2. daytime York Region: Crew positions (several positions) to participate on the crew in positions such as camera, audio, graphics, VTR etc,. Candidates must be available in the morning at least 1-2 days per week and able to get to Richmond Hill Studio. - LOOKING FOR PEOPLE FROM TUESDAYS TO FRIDAYS. Crew call is 9am to 12pm - Several positions are available!
3. Focal Point: Production Assistant (3 positions) to assist the producer in booking and handling guests along with show research. Candidates must be available to participate on the show on Tuesday and/or Wednesday evenings in Newmarket.
4. Mobile Sports Productions: Crew positions (several positions) to participate on the crews for hockey and other mobile productions - Thursdays, Fridays and some Saturdays and/or Sundays as scheduled. Candidates should be able to get to Newmarket or Aurora on a weekly basis.
5. Your Pet, Your Vet: Crew positions (5 positions) to participate on the crew in a variety of positions including camera, audio, graphics and VTR. Candidates must be available to participate on the show on Sundays from 3pm to 6pm in Newmarket beginning Sunday Sept 20th.
