Summer internship deadline: Feb. 13, 2015
Journalism students with a strong desire to learn from, and contribute to, the operation of a midsize daily newsroom are invited to apply for a summer internship with The Windsor Star. The internships run from early May to the Labour Day weekend. We're looking for energetic self-starters who exhibit reporting skill and writing flair.
Submit a resume and at least two clippings: one demonstrating your reporting prowess with an explanation of why you thought the work was good and one showcasing your best writing.
If you have done multi-media stories or data reporting include samples. In a cover letter state why you would like to work for The Windsor Star.
Please provide at least two references and copies of letters of reference, if you have them. The deadline for applications is Friday, Feb. 13, 2015. Send them to:
