Editorial Internship at Performance Publications Group
Our Toronto based publishing group is looking for a
motivated Publishing Intern to assist with our online and print editorial
departments. This would be a great opportunity to jumpstart your career and
gain a valuable experience in the exciting automotive and motorsport
industries.
Our flagship publications – Performance Auto & Sound
and PRN Motorsport magazine form the foundation of our company, which produces
thousands of editorial pieces each year. From event programs, activation and
reporting, to online shows and special editions, the work never stops in our
fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities
The selected candidate will assist with the following:
- Videos
- Content Gathering / editing
- Social Media
- Community management / filtering
- Print / online buyer’s guides
Qualifications
Ideal candidates would be journalism or communications students
or recent graduates that have a strong interest in the Automotive and
Motorsport industry. Proficiency in written French and knowledge of iMovie
software would be an asset.

-Proven ability to multi-task, learn and adapt
-Strong communication skills
Compensation
A stipend of $500 per month will be paid based on a minimum
of 35 hours work each week from September 4 to December 23, 2012.
