CHARTattack seeks part-time contributors!
Since 1996, CHARTattack has aspired to be one of the very best websites for discovering and exploring alternative and independent music. We're looking for aspiring young writers with passion for music and a talent for finding great stories to submit weekly features – that is, interviews, weekly columns, single standalone features, and whatever else you've been sitting on.
Qualifications? First off, you don't have to be a journalism student – we’re not looking for formal or traditional style. We're seeking smart, creative writers with unique voices. We want aspiring professionals who aren't afraid to try new things, and who can keep a dedicated schedule (that part's really important).
Feature writers will produce one or two 700-word pieces a week. If you have a fantastic sense of humour but can't commit to those numbers, you can also apply to write our hourly news updates and post two or three 100-word items a day.

Mention in your email whether it's features or news you're interested in. This is a paid gig – compensation TBD.
