EternityWatch Magazine
EternityWatch Magazine is an online magazine. We focus on promoting health and wellness, raw/living foods, veganism and a lifestyle that is centered on holistic living, simplicity and longevity. Each month we follow a set theme. We actually function as a distributed team with contributors/staff in India, Hawaii, Los Angeles, Florida and Toronto. You won’t have to come into a physical office, ever! We’re fun loving, concerned about the planet and the animals, and love life! We’re a small magazine with a global vision and a local solution.
We’re seeking pioneering individuals to be part of our team and have openings in different positions suited to people with various experiences and backgrounds. We are currently recruiting for the following positions:
Editor: 5 - 7 days a month (1 position)
- responsible for assigning stories, setting deadlines, and editing
- attending meetings, training sessions, and social events
- keeping in contact with writers and managing editor/editor in chief
Staff Writers: 3 - 4 days a month (3 positions)
- pitching stories, writing and reporting,
- attending raw/vegan/vegetarian potlucks, interviewing attendees, taking photos of event, food, etc
- attending all writers meetings, helping with distribution
Junior Editor: 4 - 5 days a month (2 positions)
- assisting editor and managing editor as needed
- fact checking, copy editing and posting stories to website
- selecting images
Common Skill Set
- A recent Graduate or upper-year student from a University or College Journalism (or related) program
- Outgoing, creative, honest, passionate, hard working – these characteristics are a must!
- Interest in health & wellness, an active social calendar, and a passion to be ‘part of something special’
- Well versed in web based media and social media
- A self starter with the ability to work unsupervised with only top level guidance
Duration: Our Internships run for four months.
