Job Description
We are looking to hire a current student or recent graduate in journalism, to help us compose and update our blog and website pages. This lifestyle and wedding related website is viewed by our potential clients, and the posts also serve SEO purposes. The journalist we are looking for will
- compose blog entries on finished photo/video projects
- upload photos to our website, upload video clips to youtube/vimeo and link to website
- compose online press release contents
- update blog pages with most current information
- create blog entries with original content based on popular keywords
Qualifications
- current student or recent graduate in journalism or with relevant experience
- experience in SEO oriented writing is an asset
- excellent written communication skills in English
- capable of editing and posting blog entries using Wordpress system
- knowledge of photography/cinematography/wedding industry is an asset
Compensation
Depending on the qualifications, positions are open as
- summer internship (minimum $10.25/hr)
- part time/freelance (paid by project)
- full time contractor (wage rate depends on qualification)
Actual compensation will be determined based on quality of work.
