SUMMER JOURNALISTS
The London Free Press, Southwestern Ontario's leading news
provider, is looking for enthusiastic, energetic multi-media journalists for
its summer reporting program, working for the newspaper and its online product,
lfpress.com
Successful applicants will be expected to handle a wide
variety of assignments, from breaking news and feature writing to lifestyles,
sports and business writing, both for the newspaper and through online
reporting, video work and social media.
Please send your application, without delay, to local news
editor Greg Van Moorsel, for receipt by April. 6. Applications will be accepted
by e-mail, mail or courier. In the e-mail subject field, label submissions
‘summer job application.’
Only shortlisted applicants will be contacted for
interviews.
Applications should include a covering letter that sings, a
resume, several writing samples attesting to the applicant’s breadth and depth
of experience and samples of showpiece video or broadcast work.
