Position
Title: Research Assistant

Position
This position contributes to an ongoing research
project concerning the depiction of the auto sector bailouts in the Canadian
news media. The work must be performed
between April and August, 2013.
Accountabilities
- Collect relevant newspaper editorials in a
data base
- Maintain research related records and
databases, enter data according to established
guidelinesusing
Nvivo software
Reporting
Relationships

Reports to: Ellen Russell, Principal
Investigator
Qualifications
- Masters
level education in progress
- Accuracy and attention to detail is essential;
- Experience using Nvivo 10
- Experience
performing qualitative and quantitative discourse analysis
- Excellent
research skills
- Proven ability to work both independently and within a
team environment;
Length of
employment: Approximately 160
hours total between April – August, 2013
