Job title: Freelance On-Air reporter
The Globe and Mail's 'Your Business' section is looking for a freelance on-camera reporter to produce a video series on Human Resources video series with us. As the reporter, you'd work with the video producer to produce a 3 minute video, formulate questions, interview subjects on camera, and add voice-overs.
Pay: Paid on per project/video basis, rates to be discussed with editor
Expected hours per week: Part-Time freelance basis (not a contract)
Duties of the job: You will be required to research before the shoot and prepare questions, interview subjects on-camera, record voice-overs with the video producer. The shoots will be in various locations but most likely accessible by public transit.
Skills and experience expected of a successful candidate: We're looking for someone with a strong on-air personality. Must have interest in small-business issues and entrepreneurship. Experience is preferred but not required.
