OPENINGS, SUMMER JOURNALISTS
The London Free Press, Southwestern
Ontario's leading news provider, is looking for enthusiastic, energetic
multi-media journalists for its summer reporting program, working for the
newspaper and its online product, lfpress.com
Successful applicants will be expected
to handle a wide variety of assignments, from breaking news and feature writing
to lifestyles, sports and business, both for the newspaper and through online
reporting, video work and social media.
Applications to local news editor Greg
Van Moorsel will be accepted until Dec. 30, 2014, and can be sent by e-mail,
mail or courier. In the e-mail subject field, clearly label your submission
‘summer job application.’
Only shortlisted applicants will be
contacted for interviews.
Applications should include a covering
letter that sings, a resume, several writing samples attesting to the
applicant’s breadth and depth of experience and samples of any multi-media
work.
