Video Production Intern - Paid (June – August)
If you can shoot, edit and produce captivating video — and love doing
it —Digital Communications wants you! Join a new multimedia team of
creative professionals dedicated to changing the way government connects with
citizens.
You will:
·
film on location, shoot stock footage and still
photos, and edit material into compelling story packages
·
some assignments will require fast turnaround,
availability on short notice and working during off-hours
·
you’ll work closely with a writer and editor to tell
Ontario’s story in new, interesting ways
·
you have an incredible eye for detail, thrive in a
collaborative work environment and can instinctively capture the “perfect” shot
What we are looking for:
·
fast and comfortable behind the lens;
·
skilled in storyboarding, operating a DV camera,
editing video and putting online stories together;
·
shine under deadline pressure;
·
familiar with current and emerging digital
technologies and software;
·
stand-out communications and presentation skills;
·
aware of Ontario’s current affairs climate;
·
take pride in producing top-quality work
