Summer student
internships, Postmedia News
Postmedia News seeks two talented, creative and high-energy students to join our Ottawa newsroom in the summer of 2013.
We
coverpolitics, people and policy developments from the federal government in an
environment that is fast-paced, demanding and where enterprise and exclusives
are the expectation.
Successful candidates write stories that appear on both Postmedia websites and in our newspapers across the country. We’re looking for applicants who can craft quick, accurate breaking-news hits, in keeping with the company’s digital-first philosophy, but who can also build these stories into thoughtful, analytical features for the next day’s newspapers. Students are expected to be fully conversant with video, social media and use of a variety of digital elements to enhance their work. Proficiency in both official languages is an asset.
