MoneySense, Canada's personal finance magazine, is looking for an editorial intern to help with our Charity 100 rating of the biggest charities in the country. There will also be opportunities to write stories for the magazine and website.
The successful candidate will have an interest in personal finance or demonstrate a willingness to learn about personal finance issues. The intern will help with phone calls and mail outs for the Charity 100. Attention to detail and a professional phone manner are essential. The intern will be an active participant in story meetings and have a chance to learn about the magazine production process.
This would be good opportunity for a current student or someone who recently completed Ryerson’s journalism program. We're looking for someone to start in mid-March for a minimum of six weeks. We would prefer someone full time but hours are flexible. We pay an honorarium of $500 a month. The internship is located at the Rogers building, 1 Mount Pleasant.
