Duties of the job:
Studio Jonah, architecture firm is looking for a part-time intern to contribute as a marketing/editorial intern. This position is ideal for someone with interest in business development and journalism.
A brief word about our company
Studio Jonah is an architecture firm based in Toronto with emphasis in design. We seek not only to provide innovative and aesthetic design solutions for new projects, but to complement our existing built environment with this new solution.
Skills and experience expected of a successful candidate
• Write for the print magazine and digital magazines (architecture and design)
• Contribute to and update the website
• Research for story/ marketing development
• Contribute to social media outlets
Marketing, Research and SEO:
· Comfortable working to create and execute marketing strategies
· Knowledge of search engine optimization (SEO) including basic keyword research and how to artfully create content starting from keywords or to weave keywords
Qualifications
· Strong writing skills
· Genuine interest in ARCHITECTURE and DESIGN
· Detail-oriented, highly organized, able to take instruction, take initiative, and work with minimal supervision
· Familiarity with Adobe Photoshop asset
